Netiquette and use of technology in Ireland

Our Erasmus was full of different activities related with lots of different types of skills, but we had enough time to talk about the correct use of technology and to have a reflexive thought about it.  As we can see, the social media is making human relationships more impersonals, and sometimes it feels like there isn't another person on the other side of the conversation. Because of this, is important to have a correct behaviour on the Internet. The use of technology in Ireland (specially in teenagers) is pretty similar to Spain. It's a great tool but some people abuses of it.

27th September

This was our last day of class in Ireland so it was kind of a sad day because we needed to say goodbye to all of the people we met in all this 2 weeks. On the evening I prepared all my things for the returning for the next day and I spend my last time with my host family. I am so pleased because they treated me like a part of the family and making all the experience way easier.

This day was way more relaxed than the two days before. We went to class as normally and all went good in there. We had one of my favourite subjects in the Scouk Poil, which was 3D design. In this class they were designing the pieces of a bicycle, and I helped with the design of the seat. Later on the day, I just started to prepare my luggage and rest for the next days.

25th September

This day was one of the busiest days of all the Erasmus proyect. On the morning we had to go to Limerick for watching a Dj's football game. I could walk around the city while the players were preparing for the game. Unfortunately, they couldn't win the game but was fun to watch. In the evening all the people of our high school and their host brothers/sisters went to a theatre for watching a moviee. The movie was a Batman one. It was fun but it was too long so it was a little bit heavy for us. Then we had dinner in some of the restaurants around the places. I ate a Döner kebab, but lots of the people preferred the Chinese restaurant.

On this day we went to class normally, and the first half went as usual, but then we had some Barista special course. In there two people teached us on how to use a coffee machine, and then we could do our own coffees. I think this was a great opportunity for learning a new skill that you can use in different jobs.

On this day we went to class at morning, and nothing special happened in there, and later in the day I went to watch a football game because my host brother DJ played in there. It was a pretty intense game but they could take the win in the second half of the match. Football level in Ireland is not as high as in Spain, specially in youth categories, but they were two of the more high rated of the whole country so they could play quality football.
